Mark & Wedell A/S was established in 1974 by engineers Ole Mark and Anders Wedell. The first couple of years we had offices in Hørsholm but with expansion of the drawing offices and establishment of own manufacturing facilities we moved to Kvistgaard. As of today we are around 50 employees, and sales are organised in Mark & Wedell A/S, M&W Asketeknik A/S, M&W Jawo Handling A/S samt M&W Engineering A/S, each servicing specific industrial branches. The city Kvistgaard is situated in beautiful North Zealand, just south of Helsingør (Elsinore) which is known also for the many well preserved historical houses and Kronborg the castle which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The local area is a key access node for the region with Helsingør being center of seagoing transport to especially Sweden and passing nearby is [E47] - one of the most important roads of the E-road network - and international railway traffic.
