AUTOMATIC TRIMMING DAMPER

The ATD is an electric driven valve trimming the flow of coal in the fuel pipes from the mills to the burners.

The ATD is flanged into the fuel pipe.

On receipt of an electric signal the damper will operate in the direction of openning or closing.

The opening/closing flaps are made from special wear resistant material.

The signal to operate the trimming damper can be generated "manually" from a push button or automatically from a communication box translating actual flow measurements from the flow monitor into signals for the ATD for the purpose of balancing the flow in all feeder pipes.
