The Pulverized Fuel Sampler (PFS) is a portable instrument designed for sampling and flow measuring of pulverized coal in the fuel pipes between mills and burners. The Pulverized Fuel Sampler complies with the ISO 9931 standard for sampling of coal conveyed by gases.
The Pulverized Fuel Sampler is introduced into the fuel pipe through an airlock (Dustless Connection), and the coal sample is collected in an exchangable container attached to the sampler.
Application areas:
- Extracting of isokinetic and representative samples for determining of particle size of coal and other parameters.
- Routine and special measurements of coal flow in fuel pipes.
